American University of Afghanistan, Kabul


Shah Zaman Rahimi is a senior undergraduate student of Business Administration at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF). 

Shah was born in Ghazni, Afghanistan, but like millions of Afghans, he and his family had to escape the country for Pakistan to seek refuge from the wars. In Pakistan, Shah Zaman finished his elementary school at Sardar Ishaq Khan High School before his family decided to make the move back to Afghanistan following the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan. Upon return, he enrolled in Asef Mayel high school for seven years, and he studied his middle school at various schools. In 2013, he graduated from Said Ismaiel Balkhi high school of Kabul. 

Beside academics, he worked as an Instructor in different language institutes in Kabul, and as a treasurer for Afghan Peace Volunteers in Afghan Diaspora Project, and as a volunteer Coordinator for Resources of Young Afghans (ROYA) in Kabul. In addition, Shah served as an employee for different entities in administrative and management fields.
